DOORBIRD INTERCOM INTEGRATION WITH ILEVIA
INTRODUCTION
Intercom systems are communication devices designed for instant, two-way audio exchange within specific areas. They typically consist of a master station and multiple sub-stations, allowing direct communication without the need for external networks. This guide show how to integrate a Doorbird Intercom (Model: D1101V-F-GB Fw ver.: V000150) with the Ilevia server.
Intercom configuration
Connect and access the web interface of the Doorbird Intercom. Open the Overview section.
1. Click “+“;
2. Create a new SIP User ID then add a SIP ID and the Ilevia’s server IP address within the SIP Address parameter (Replace <Ilevia server IP> with the real IP of the Ilevia X1 server).
3. Click Save to apply the settings.
Enter the Expert settings section of the web interface, the open the “Schedule for doorbell” . Enable the check box, select “SIP calls” from the drop down and finally click the “Select all” button to select all the days of the year.
1. Access the Expert settings;
2. Enter the SIP Settings;
3. Enable the SIP settings option. Then replace IleviaServerIP and then replace the SIPUserID with an ID of your choice. Add a SIP password. Enable Incoming call.
4. Enable Incoming calls and add a new allowed SIP User. Replace SIPID with the desired SIP ID that will be set within the SIP Group component within the Ilevia Manager.
5. Finally click Save to apply the settings.
Ilevia Manager configuration
Open the configuration software Ilevia Manager. 1. Open the SIP tab from the Components library, 2. Add 1 SIP Group and 2 SIP Client.
Enter the parameters of the SIP Group. Here add the SIP address previously set up on the Doorbird Intercom and the Ilevia’s IP address separated by a “@” sign as follows: <SIP-Address>@<Ilevia-server-IP-address> where”SIP-address” needs to be replaced with the actual SIP address created earlier within the Intercom web interface and Ilevia server IP address needs to be replaced with the real Ilevia server’s IP address.
Select the first SIP Client component. Add the SIP address with the right SIP ID, the SIP ID is a specific number of your choice. This first SIP Client component represents the Ilevia control app client that will receive the call once the bell is rang. Lastly Add the Admin tag, this tag allows the Ilevia control app client to subscribe to the SIP client list.
Select the second SIP Client component.
Replace <SIP ID” with the one created within the Intercom web interface, then replace the <SIP intercom IP> with the Intercom IP address.
Finally add the App sip client within the SIP Group component’s SIP Client list.
Optional settings
Add a new IP camera component within the project. Then apply the RTSP URL to the component parameters as follows.
rtsp://<User1>:<User1 password>@<Intercom IP address>/mpeg/media.amp
Where <User1> must be replaced with the real User name of the first user created within the Doorbird web interface, password<User1 password> must be replaced with the real User1 password generated within the Doorbird web interface, finally <Intercom IP address> with the current Intercom IP address on the lan network.
Finally Upload the project to the server.
Interface visualization
Click the button on the Intercom to make a call. If the configuration has been done correctly you will receive a notification if the app is closed or a calling interface will open where you can accept or refuse the call.
