There are a wide variety of ways to connect to a specific device remotely: by forwarding the necessary port in the router, using a cloud connection, but connecting via VPN<\/b> will always be the safest way to do so. That’s why with the Ilevia’s X1 server now it became a reality. WIth the latest version of the server you now have the chance to do it. In this guide it is shown how to setup and start using the VPN connection<\/b> through the X1 server<\/b>.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

In order to be able to use the VPN connection with the Ilevia server, a specific version of the X1 server is required. This version can be easily checked from the web interface by entering the Ilevia’s server<\/b> local IP address within the URL bar on the browser web. The minimum image version required is the following: Image Version –\t26\/11\/2023<\/b>.<\/p>\n

If your server’s image version doesn’t match, don’t worry, you can still be able to get it by re-flashing the Ilevia server’s system image with the latest available.
