_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;]\n<p><strong>Step 6<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Open EVE Manager and create a new MQTT gateway inside the Gateway tab as explaned in this <a href=\"http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/shelly\/mqtt-protocol-in-eve-automations-software\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.7.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;]\n<p><strong>Step 7<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Now it is time to add the components inside the project, head to &#8220;<strong>My components<\/strong>&#8221; section and add up to 3 different components that follow: <a href=\"http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/configuration-software\/eve-manager-pro\/components\/info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Info<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/all\/configuration-software\/text-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Textinfo<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/all\/configuration-software\/coloro-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Colorinfo<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/configuration-software\/eve-manager-pro\/components\/switch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Switch<\/a> component, that you can find inside the <strong>Basic<\/strong> tab on the left section inside EVE Manger. After adding the components, change their gateway setting by selecting the <strong>MQTT gateway<\/strong> created earlier from the protocol drop down inside the component&#8217;s properties.\u00a0In our case we will focus on <strong>L1.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>! Inside the Text info it is mandatory to insert two words in the state configuration of the component in order to display the state inside the User interface.<\/b><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;http:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Shelly_i3_textinfo.gif&#8221; alt=&#8221;Setting up the componente that will receive the status from the shelly i3 device inside the Home automation software EVE Manger Pro&#8221; title_text=&#8221;Shelly_i3_textinfo&#8221; show_in_lightbox=&#8221;on&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.7.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;50px||50px||false|false&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.7.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;]\n<p><strong>Step 8<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>The configuration of the topics is divided by the number of the input channels, infact as mentioned at the start of this guide, you will be able to set up to 3 different swithes, which each of them will have its indipendent function. We will start from the topic &#8220;<strong>Event<\/strong>&#8220;, the topic will have set the input channel &#8220;0&#8221; that corrispond to the input channel 1 of the shelly i3.
