INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The software Ilevia Manager<\/a> allow to import an ETS project in order to speed up the Ilevia project configuration.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”30px||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

Project importation procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

Step 1<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Open you ETS software and click on the project you want to export and right click on it.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Once you clicked on “ETS project<\/strong>” a new window will appear in the middle of the screen, in order to open the ETS project inside Ilevia Manager<\/a> click on the “import<\/strong>” button on the top left corner of the importation window.<\/p>\n

ETS project password<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Before importing the ETS project into the Ilevia manager, make sure to it has no password set to it. In order to remove the password from the ETS Project follow the next steps: <\/p>\n

1:<\/b> Hover the project on the ETS<\/b> Main page and click Details<\/b>;<\/p>\n

2:<\/b> Then select details<\/b>;<\/p>\n

On the bottom left of the wizard’s window you can see three buttons. These buttons manage the rules created during the importation of the ETS project. Such as the coupling keywords (Command \/ Status, Up \/ Down – Stop) and the other settings done within the “Advanced mode<\/b>” of the wizard.<\/p>\n

Export rules:<\/b> This button will allows you to export the rules created within the step in the ETS project wizard of Ilevia Manager<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Load rules:<\/b> This button allows you to load a Rule file exported from other Ilevia Manager<\/a> software.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After loading the project hit next on the bottom right corner<\/strong>, here you will be able to set the keywards that the ETS wizard will use to pair the group addresses in order to create a single component in the EVE project with both group addresses already paired together. If this step is not set once the EVE project is created there will be two separate components, one with the write address and the other with the feedback. We suggest to choose keyword such as: Cmd<\/strong> for the comand address and Fb<\/strong> for the feedback one. This keywords<\/strong> will be checked in each name of the group addresses. This step has the same functionality of the previous one with the difference that, in this step, you will be setting the coupling keyword specifically for the Shutters<\/b>. After setting up the keywords you can choose to 1.<\/b> Create Project<\/b><\/em> the project with the rules created in the previous steps or proceed with the importing procedure by clicking 2.<\/b> Preserve EVE names<\/strong> checkbox, once activated, allows you to preserve the components, that have been already created from a first ETS project importation, to not get overwritten in case importation of the same ETS project. 3.<\/b> “Advanced mode<\/strong>“, the advanced mode allows you to set more rules<\/em> and filters<\/em> for the importation.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/support.ilevia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Ets_project_importation_createproject.png” alt=”Selecting the single component inside the Home automation configuration software EVE Manager Pro” title_text=”Ets_project_importation_createproject” show_in_lightbox=”on” _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”50px||50px||false|false” box_shadow_style=”preset2″ global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

Step 8:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once clicked “Advanced mode<\/strong>” a new step will be open, in this step you will be able to add a ETS group names that the wizard won’t import inside the EVE project. This step allows you to make custom rules to prevent the importation of the specified group address<\/b> that contain the characters added in the list below. Step 10:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This step allows you to build custom group with custom components within the group<\/strong>. On the left side of the wizard you can set the “Keyword<\/b><\/em>” that will be applyed as the name of the group. Then on the right side of the wizard allows you to create the actual Offsets<\/em> that will be created within the group. Also you will be able to apply a template<\/em> to each offset, In order to apply a template you will need to add the component Map Template<\/strong><\/span><\/a> before importing the map template. Step 10:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the final step of the ETS import wizard, first disable the check box called “display undefined only<\/strong>“, because if you don’t it will display only the group addesses which the wizard has not been able to recognise the “Dpt<\/strong>” (Data type). On the left side of the screen you will be able to see all the groups created inside the ETS software.
