INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There are several options for exporting Vimar By Me database files. In order to succesfully carry out the Vimar By-Me database import on EVE Manager we need to run EasyTool Professional software by Vimar, open the plant and export it for WebServer (.xml file). File –> Open Plant. Tools –> Import –> VIMAR By Me<\/strong>. Step 8:\u00a0<\/strong>Database file WebServer (.xml)<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Click Select file<\/strong>\u00a0to select the VIMAR By Me .xml file. A second dialog box appears.<\/li>\n

    Step 9: Gateway address:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Type the Gateway address<\/strong> of the VIMAR gateway (Ex. 192.168.1.250<\/em>).
      NOTE. <\/em>VIMAR gateway will be automatically added to the current project and set as enabled. Besides, it will be automatically added to the current project also the KNX gateway reporting the same Gateway address.\u00a0 It would be possible to make changes anytime getting access to the Gateways tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      PREMISE.\u00a0<\/i>EVE\u00a0turns VIMAR By Me devices automatically into KNX.\u00a0\u00a0VIMAR By Me devices which have no KNX correspondence can be managed as VIMAR otherwise as KNX thanks to EVE capability to create virtual feedbacks.<\/p>\n

      Step 10: Create KNX virtual feedbacks:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Tick the check box “Create virtual feedbacks<\/strong>” if you want EVE to create a KNX virtual feedback (read and write address) for VIMAR By Me devices which have no KNX correspondence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Step 11:<\/strong>\u00a0Starting KNX \u00a0group address:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Type the starting Group address<\/strong> to be assigned to VIMAR devices\u00a0<\/em>to be turned into KNX\u00a0(Ex. 11\/0\/0)
          <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Step 12:<\/strong> Reference CSV file folder:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Click Select folder<\/strong>\u00a0to choose where to save the KNX reference CSV file. A second dialog box appears.<\/li>\n
          • Select the File path where to save the KNX reference CSV file and confirm.
            NOTE. This is the file where is a report of all the KNX group address for all VIMAR By Me devices imported.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Step 13:<\/strong> Actions confirmation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

            Once the Import is done, you will be able to compare EasyTool Professional and EVE Manager database files.
