DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The KNX Gateway connects a PC to an EIB \/ KNX system via the EIB socket on our X1 servers in order to configure, parameterize and commission the EIB \/ KNX installation and the bus monitor using the ETS software<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the connection has been established, go to the Tools -> Start KNX Gateway<\/strong> menu. Now let’s move on to the ETS<\/strong> software, by selecting the Bus screen<\/strong> you will notice that the communication was successful. When the connection is established it will be possible to use all the ETS features<\/strong>. KNX INTRFACE REMOTE CONNECTION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In order to be able to connect to the server X1 with through KNX interface remotly, it will be necessary to access your Modem\/Router configuration and open the port 3671<\/strong> with the\u00a0TCP\/UDP\u00a0<\/strong>protocol.<\/p>\n

HOW TO CONFIGURE KNX DEVICES THROUGH THE X1 SERVER<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

In order to be able to configure KNX devices through the x1 server you will need to start the KNX gateway, then open your ETS software and load a project.<\/p>\n

Once opened the ETS software select as knx interface<\/strong> the EVE server, that should pop up in the interfaces section in the bus section of ETS.
