INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When connecting for the first time, connect the LAN network adapter to the network then connect the power supply. The server will then boot from the on board card (from the MicroSD card for Raspberry Pi) which stores all the firmware and user data. The Server will now get an IP address automatically from the router (DHCP server). It is important that your server is connected to the same network as your computer so you can use the Server Connection command on Ilevia Manager configuration\u00a0software.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_margin=”30px||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

Connection to the server (from Web browser)<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid” global_colors_info=”{}”]Please follow the steps below:<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Open iLEVIA Manager<\/strong> configuration software (download<\/a>\u00a0Ilevia Manager<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Select Project<\/strong> from top menu, then Connect<\/strong> command. Connection dialog box will appear.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Click Search<\/strong> button to find the server on the whole network. Then use this link<\/a><\/span>. The internet browser will open and display a list of IP addresses of all the servers in the network. In presence of a single Ilevia server in the network you will land on the web configuration panel<\/strong> login of the only server connected to the local network. Copy link from the URL and paste it on the Server IP Address<\/strong> field on the connection dialog box of Ilevia Manager.<\/p>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”]\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Click on the server IP address<\/strong> of your server from the list that appears on the connection dialog box<\/p>\n

! Setting a manual IP address<\/strong><\/p>\n

If there is no DHCP server or router to assign an IP address to the Server, you must set one manually. Step 1: ADAPTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open Windows Control Panel and go to the Network and Sharing Center. Step 3: IPV4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 4: IPV4 PROPERTIES<\/strong>Here you can assign your computer a static IP address. Click on the option “Use the following IP address:” and then fill in an IP address and subnet. The IP address for your laptop must be different from the one that the Server will gather. By default, with no router, the Server IP address is 192.168.1.100, so set your laptop IP address to a different address of your Server IP address, for example 192.168.1.1 (Simulating a router).<\/p>\n

Hit enter after entering the IP address and the subnet will automatically be filled in as\u00a0255.255.255.0.
